I love your positive outlook on something that is usually filled with dread. I am not too fond of conferences. It is my first year and I really don’t feel like I know what I am doing. It is hard to be confident with the parents.

I appreciate your candor. If this is your first year, survival is your number one goal. Take notes from as many teachers you admire and try your best to emulate them.

I just thought today about doing an acrostic poem. A great choice! And I love the part about the food – we do a fabulous luncheon on the second day of conferences, and I look forward to it every year!
